Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich 

Main Ingredient: Poultry

Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 1 peeled and thickly sliced red onion
  • 1 carved and sliced rotisserie chicken
  • 2 thinly sliced vine ripe tomatoes
  • 6 leaves of green leaf lettuce
  • 12 strips of cooked crisp bacon
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup of Salemville® Gorgonzola Crumbled Cheese

Directions

In a large frying pan over medium heat, add in the oil and cook the onions until lightly browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. 

To serve, place a piece of lettuce, some cooked onions, and sliced tomatoes onto a bottom bun.  Next, stack on some sliced chicken, 2 slices of bacon and crumbled gorgonzola cheese, and top bun.
