Strawberry and Blue Cheese Salad with Toasted Almonds

Yield: 1 Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Salemville® Blue Cheese crumbles
  • 1 head of butter or Boston lettuce
  • 1/2 cup of sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/3 cup of slivered toasted almonds
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
  • Fresh cracked pepper and salt to taste

Directions

  1. To make the dressing in a small bowl whisk together the oil, vinegar, salt & pepper.
  2. In a large bowl assemble the salad by first adding the lettuce and half of the blue cheese and tossing it lightly with some of the dressing. 
  3. Top with berries, almonds & more blue cheese crumbles. 
  4. Serve with a cold glass of white wine, enjoy.
